Dear bros and sis,
I am starting to learn how to read arabic and have more or less learned how to read. I am still slow at it but i can read and believe I will become better with more practice. My question is someone whom I met said I need to know rules of tajweed such as ghunna and qalaqala. I am wondering if these rules are inherent in the arabic language since the prophet's time or later invention for beautific recitation. Also, if one just reads the quran without ghunna or qalaqala and all would it be alright in terms of getting the word right. Pls enlighten me, thanks.
Regards,
