THE CRIMINALS OF ISLAM (Islam Ke Mujrim - Urdu)

This ground-breaking book by Dr. Shabbir was challenged by the Mullas in Pakistan in 2002. They filed a lawsuit in Lahore High Court demanding to ban it and dispense "appropriate" punishment to whoever was found to be in possession of it.

The Court decision was prompt (about one month), but it has reached me last week.

Our attorneys had asked the plaintiffs to prove one incorrect reference in the book. And, of course, they could not.

The Chief Justice writes in the end:

The learned author Dr. Shabbir Ahmed, M.D. of Florida maintains that most Muslim sacred books of high repute and popularity are replete with shameful and blasphemous remarks against the Prophet (S) and his Companions (r.a.) and his household (r.a.)

I have personally read every word of the book, as have the honourable bench, and we have no choice but to fully agree with the learned author.

The plaintiffs were given one month to produce one single erroneous reference in the said book, but they have failed to do so.

Now it is up to our Ulema to start purging our sacred texts from the blasphemies pointed out in this book, The Criminals of Islam.

Exercising the authority vested into us and this Court by the Pakistan Religious Law 295-AC and 298-C, we strongly dismiss the case with honours to the learned author, Dr. Shabbir Ahmed, M.D.

8:8 (That was your first armed confrontation with the opponents in which you were greatly outnumbered and ill equipped.) For He has decreed that the Truth shall triumph, and the falsehood shall vanish, even as the guilty detest it.

8:42.....Allah had decreed that the Truth shall survive and falsehood shall vanish. Allah is Hearer, Knower.

9:34 O You who have chosen to be graced with belief! A great many religious leaders, rabbis, priests, monks, mullahs, yogis, and mystics devour the wealth of mankind in falsehood, and debar them from the Path of Allah. All those who hoard up gold and silver and spend it not in the Cause of Allah, to them give tidings (O Prophet) of a painful doom.

21:18 Nay, We hurl the true against the false, and it crushes it and verily falsehood has to vanish. It is only harmful for yourselves to fabricate falsehood.

42:24 Do they say, “He has invented a lie about Allah?” But then, had Allah so willed, He could have made your heart insensitive (10:16). And Allah will wipe out the falsehood and will prove the Truth by His Words. Verily, He is the Knower of all that is in the hearts.

Dear Tirmazi,

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Please refer to your Book. Your study would not be completed without this evidence.

Mr. Shahalam,

God bless you. This forum is not for fighting, I think. I just asked reference for academic purpose. I could not understand reason for your harsh tone.

Regards.
