I am looking forward to the new look of the forum and currently working to navigate through the site to see what tools are available. My own brain should be acclimated to the new look in a few days! As we move away from 2006 and into the new year of 2007, may this exchange of ideas bring much intellectual health to all of us.

Just wanted to check with brother Saleem, how hard would it be to have the forum background white with the text in black.
Don't know how the rest of the readers feel about it, but to me it's easier on the eyes. Other than that the format and the functionality is superb. Great Job!

its very hard to read, fonts are tooo small ... white text and black bacground is really hurting my eyes.. please change it to something readable (must increase the font size too)

yes, the colour contrast is glaring, hard on eyes and mostly avoided in websites. Everything else is simply Great.

I agree with other users about fonts being too small and the "general darkness" of the look. Let the bright sun shine in on OUR BEACON so that it reflects back as a shining beacon!!!!

In reading along, I concur with the need for a lighter background and darker and possibly larger font. As people age, get macular degeneration, other problems with old age eyesight, things are harder to read. Naturally, I speak of the others on the forum, out of respect. My eyesight is great. smile

Black background of this Forum does not go with the name "Our beacon". It should be simple bright and appealing at first sight. This Forum is meant to bring people from darkness to light. Definitely, lot of effort has gone into bringing out this Forum, and it is appreciable, but it is affecting the traffic.

AS Arnold. I like the color-scheme as posted in "almateen.spaces.live". Font size is easily readable without straing the eyes plus color-scheme is also very simple and attractive.
