Salaam Aleikum,

"It is reported about Umm Waraqah who had learned the Quran by heart that the Prophet commanded her that she should act as Imam of the people of her house, and she had a mu'adhdhin and she used to act as Imam of the people of her house." Recorded in the Musnad of Ahmad. Chapter 6, verse 405.

Comments by Muhammed Ali: "This shows that a woman may act as Imam. There is nothbing to show that there were no males among the people of her house; on the other hand, it is clearly stated that she had a mu'adhdhin who was evidently a male."

"A Manual of Hadith" by Muhammed Ali New typset edition 2001. ISBN 091332115-X

9:71 And the believers, both men and women, are colleagues/protectors/defenders one of another. They enjoin the doing of Right and forbid the doing of Wrong (The distinction between right and wrong will never be arbitrary. The Qur’an is the eternal Criterion of what is right and what is wrong 2:185). Together, they help establish the Divine System[iqima-assalat=to follow the Divine Laws closely like an instinct=24:41], and set up the Just Economic Order of Zakat
