As salaam alikum!

Dear Dr. Sahab,

It all started when my uncle conveyed that its not obligatory to pray the so-called ritualistic Namaaz which is imposed by the ancient Imams and mullahs. He said that even one cannot say "Allahuakbar" because word akbar is used is comparison and we cannot compare Allah with anyone.

I would like to know the exact meaning of Allahuakbar ? and if I say Allahuakbar am I committing Shirk.

Alhamdulillah! I've read your article on Salat and very much convinced with quranic viewpoint of As-Salah.

JazakAllah!
