We can argue too and fro, so in order for us to both agree on a point, can you quote me a verse in the Qur'an that says we can follow the hadith and sunnah of the Messenger?
As for Bukhari, you have to take his word he checked the credibility of those in his chains of narrations including the four or five generation of dead ones.
Also, he did not check what was being said so gave us hadith that are absurd, contradictory to Qur'an and science, INSULTS THE Messenger and sahaba etc
It is no good telling us that a person is honest when his testimony is dishonest!
If you have studied hadith then you should know about these problems in Bukhari unless you are one of those that believes in him 100%, an absolute hadithist.
