"The list misses our one crucial sensibility. It is a high-quality education that promotes hope, help, and respect in the world arena. It needs the kind of education that promotes critical thinking, innovation, and a massive dose of vision. But the current quality of universities and colleges in the country have little capacity to elevate intellect and modern dexterity. Universities and colleges there currently do not respectably rank in the world list."
Respectable Brother ShahAlam:
You mentioned that our education lacks respect and recognition abroad. It is an accurate observation. You have just identified the underlying problem in our system of education. It is the lack of integrity -- much more so on the part of the student than on the teacher. Leaving you and me out of this discussion, our student goes to school to pass the exam and not necessarily learn. Once we admit this to be the problem then we have the answer to the first piece, the "What" of the puzzle. The next step is to know the "Why" of the puzzle and then we get to the "How" to resolve the issue. That is where we need more educated and wiser people than me.
