Salaam Asif Zaheer,
Thank you for your response and the link. The link you provided relies on Politifact to whitewash the nefarious activities of the Gates foundation in India. Not surprisingly, Politifact is actually funded by the Gates foundation, as Politifact states on its own website .
The issue is much too large to be swept under the carpet by some Gates funded 'fact-checking' website. Many scientific publications over the last decade have pointed to vaccine-derived polio as being the cause of Non-Polio Acute Flaccid Paralysis (NPAFP), which is just another name for Polio. Here's a quote from a recent paper by Dhiman et al. (2018) :
"We calculated the number of paralyzed children each year which exceeded the expected numbers (assuming a NPAFP rate of 2/100,000) and the results are displayed in Table 2. A total of 640,000 children developed NPAFP in the years 2000–2017, suggesting that there were an additional 491,000 paralyzed children above our expected numbers for children with NPAFP."
As a scientist and an academically active researcher, I read and analyse scientific papers all day and constantly engage in weighing up competing lines of evidences. Peer-reviewed literature from well-established researchers far outweigh what some Gate's funded 'fact-checker' website might say. The Gates foundation did not get thrown out of India for no reason.
As I've mentioned earlier, I'm not here to persuade anyone -- it is a personal journey that one must make on their own. Please feel free to believe what you see fit.
