Salams to All my Brothers and Sisters,
Ramadan begins this year at sundown on April 23rd. My observance of Ramadan has usually been rather disorganized: I only have my nuclear family to celebrate with, I can't fast for medical reasons, and I don't go to a mosque. (I'm guessing a lot of people will be in the same situation this year as far as just being with their nuclear families.) I usually just try to read Qur'an and Dr. Shabbir's books every evening during Ramadan. But I've never studied the Qur'an in a really systematic way. I've heard that in mosques one thirtieth of the Qur'an is recited each night of Ramadan. Given the differences in the lengths of the surahs and the different topics I'm wondering if this is the most logical way to go about it. I would really love to have some type of "study schedule" that I could follow. Do other Muslims in the forum have something special they do? I would love to hear your suggestions.
