I have been feeling Dr. Israr's loss since April 2010.

No one among our elders has been able to fulfill the vacuum after him. Dr. Israr Ahmed connected my generation to our icons ALLAMA IQBAL & QUAID-E-AZAM, history and culture of Indo-Pakistan.

Allama G.A.Parwez (1903-1985) had strongly enriched our knowledge before him.

WIKIPEDIA: Dr. Israr Ahmed was a Pakistani Islamic theologian, philosopher, and Islamic scholar who was followed particularly in South Asia as well as by South Asian Muslims in the Middle East, Western Europe, and North America. He was the founder of Tanzeem-e-Islami.

Born: April 26, 1932, Hisar, India
Died: April 14, 2010, Lahore, Pakistan
