Dear Dr. Zia,
- I seriously doubt that you know Persian.
- And I am sure you never read Rumi's poetry (the MATHNAWI). Even the great Allama Iqbal had only skimmed through it for lack of time and because of the very questionable content of the famous MATHNAVI. I had to devote a full six months to study it and found it loaded with blasphemy and nonsense. Rumi's poetry is popular only for its eloquence.
What could be more utter nonsense than Rumi playing God and ridiculing the prophets?
