I quote a few verses from AlQur'an of how Allah SWT described His Divine Revelation. The descriptions should make any thinking person take heed and ponder deeply and to move one to study AlQur'an.

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 2:

This (QUR'AN) is the Book; in IT is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah;
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. Guidance for sure without Doubt.

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 147:

The Truth is from thy Lord; so be not at all in doubt.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. AlHaq, is one of Allah's Attributes and Allah uses the same for His Divine Revelation.

Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 60:

The Truth (comes) from Allah alone; so be not of those who doubt.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. This verse is exactly the same as chapter 2 verse 147.

Surah An-Nisa, Verse 166:

But Allah beareth witness that what He hath sent unto thee (Muhammad) He (Allah) hath sent from His (own) knowledge, and the mala'ikah bear witness: But enough is Allah for a witness.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. Allah SWT says AlQuran is from His Knowledge and He is Witness to this.

Surah Al-Anaam, Verse 19:

Say: "What thing is most weighty in evidence?" Say: "Allah is witness between me (Muhammad) and you; This Qur'an hath been revealed to me (Muhammad) by inspiration, (Wa'hy) that I (Muhammad) may warn you and all whom IT (AlQur'an) reaches. Can ye possibly bear witness that besides Allah there is another Allah?" Say: "Nay! I (Muhammad) cannot bear witness!" Say: "But in truth He is the one Allah, and I (Muhammad) truly am innocent of (your blasphemy of) joining others with Him."
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. The Weightiest in Testimony / Evidence is AlQur'an, Allah SWT is Witness and IT Muhammad must warn mankind with AlQur'an during his lifetime and all those whom IT will reach. We cannot deny that IT has not reached us.

Surah Al-Araf, Verse 52:

For We (Allah) had certainly sent unto them a Book, based on knowledge, which We (Allah) explained in detail,- a Guide and a Mercy to all who believe.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. AlQur'an is based on knowledge from Allah. AlQur'an is
Explained by Allah, IT is a Mercy and Guidance for all mankind.

Surah Ibrahim, Verse 1:

Alif. Laam. Raa. A Book which We (Allah) have revealed unto thee (Muhammad), in order that thou (Muhammad) mightest lead mankind out of the depths of darkness into light - by the leave of their Lord - to the Way of (Allah) the Exalted in power, worthy of all praise!-
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. AlQur'an will lead mankind from darkness meaning unbelief to light meaning belief in the Absolute Truth.

Surah Ar-Rad, Verse 31:

If there were a Qur'an with which mountains were moved, or the earth were cloven asunder, or the dead were made to speak, (this would be the one!) But, truly, the command is with Allah in all things! Do not the Believers know, that, had Allah (so) willed, He could have guided all mankind (to the right)? But the unbelievers,- never will disaster cease to seize them for their (ill) deeds, or to settle close to their homes, until the promise of Allah come to pass, for, verily, Allah will not fail in His promise.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note the powerful descriptions in this verse by Allah SWT of His Divine Revelation. Please read carefully and ponder.

Surah Yunus, Verse 32:

Such is Allah, your real Cherisher and Sustainer: apart from Truth (AlHaq), what (remains) but error? How then are ye turned away?
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. Besides AlQur'an other books will lead you astray.

Surah Yunus, Verse 36:

But most of them follow nothing but fancy: truly fancy can be of no avail against truth. Verily Allah is well aware of all that they do.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. This verse further emphasis verse 32 above.

Surah Al-Anaam, Verse 153:

Verily, this is My way, leading straight: follow it: follow not (other) paths: they will scatter you about from His (great) path: thus doth He (Allah) command you. that ye may be righteous.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. Besides AlQur'an one will be misguided and be scattered from Allah's Guidance.

Surah Al-Anaam, Verse 155:

And This is a Book which We (Allah) have revealed as a Blessing: so follow IT and be righteous, that ye may receive Mercy:
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. AlQur'an is Revealed by Allah SWT as a Blessing and Mercy.

Surah Al-Isra, Verse 88:

Say: "If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note the powerful statements in this verse. This challenge has been there in AlQur'an since It's Revelation and stands till today and will stand till the end of time. Only Allah SWT can make the challenges as the above mentioned verses state.

Surah Az-Zumar, Verse 23:

Allah has revealed (from time to time) the most Ah'Sanal'Hadith (beautiful Message) in the form of a Book, consistent with itself, (yet) repeating (its teaching in various aspects): the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble thereat; then their skins and their hearts do soften to the celebration of Allah's praises. Such is the guidance of Allah: He guides therewith whom He pleases, but such as Allah leaves to stray, can have none to guide.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. Allah SWT says AlQur'an is His most beautiful Hadith. Check the Arabic.

Surah Luqman, Verse 6:

But there are, among men, those who purchase (Lah'wal hadith) idle tales, without knowledge (or meaning), to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah and throw ridicule (on the Path): for such there will be a Humiliating Penalty.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. Please read carefully the Arabic text, and note Allah SWT says any book claiming to be hadith is idle tales, nonsense, rubbish. It will lead one astray from AlQur'an.

Surah Taha, Verse 133:

They say: "Why does he (Muhammad) not bring us a sign from his Lord?" Has not a Clear Sign come to them of all that was in the former Books of revelation?
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. When the unbelievers asked Muhammad for a sign / miracle Allah SWT says AlQur'an contains information of All the Previous Books. So what other miracle do they want.

Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 3:

It is He (Allah) Who sent down to thee (Muhammad) (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before IT (AlQur'an) ; and He ( Allah) sent down the At-Taurat (of Musa) and the Al-Injeel (of Eesa) before This (QUR'AN) as a guide to mankind, and He (Allah) sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong).
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. AlQur'an contains ALL THE PREVIOUS BOOKS.

Surah Fatir, Verse 31:

That which We (Allah) have revealed to thee (Muhammad) of the Book is the Truth,- Confirming what was (revealed) before IT (AlQur'an): for Allah is assuredly- with respect to His Servants - well acquainted and Fully Observant.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. Again Allah SWT says All previously Revealed Books are in AlQur'an.

Surah Fussilat, Verse 43:

Nothing is said to thee (Muhammad) that was not said to the messengers before thee (Muhammad): that thy lord has at his Command (all) forgiveness as well as a most Grievous Penalty.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. The same message is repeated that nothing is said to Muhammad that was not said to the Messengers before him, meaning that all the Previous Books are in AlQur'an.

Surah Sad, Verse 67:

Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),-
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. AlQur'an is The Supreme Message because It is Allah's Message.

Surah Sad, Verse 70:

'Only this (QUR'AN) has been revealed to me (Muhammad): that I (Muhammad) am to give warning plainly and publicly."
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. ONLY ALQU'RAN REVEALED TO MUHAMMAD.

Surah Al-Ankaboot, Verse 51:

And is IT (AlQur'an) not enough for them that We (Allah) have sent down to thee (Muhammad) the Book (AlQur'an) which is rehearsed to them? Verily, in IT (AlQur'an) is Mercy and a Reminder to those who believe.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Note. Allah SWT posed the question: is AlQur'an not enough? What is wrong with you? In so many numerous ways Allah SWT has explained over and over again that AlQur'an is what must be followed. Even Muhammad is ordered to follow AlQur'an.

Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 43:

So hold thou (Muhammad) fast to the Revelation sent down to thee (Muhammad); verily thou (Muhammad) art on a Straight Way.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Again Allah SWT says Muhammad must follow AlQur'an as well as his followers.

Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 44:

The (Qur'an) is indeed the message, for thee and for thy people; and soon shall ye (all) be brought to account.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Surah Al-Ahzab, Verse 2:

But follow that which comes to thee (Muhammad) by inspiration from thy Lord: for Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

I can continue to quote hundreds more ayat, but I think that the above verses are more than sufficient for any thinking person.
------------.
If after all the above a person still needs more proof to follow Only AlQur'an then take of the following question Allah SWT will pose to Muhammad on the Day of Judgment.

Surah An-Nisa, Verse 41:

How then if We (Allah,) brought from each people a witness, and We (Allah) brought thee (Muhammad)as a witness against these (your) people!
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Pay very careful attention to Muhammad's answer on The Day of Judgment to Allah SWT. Keep in mind that the question and answer was told to Muhammad in his own lifetime.

Surah Al-Furqan, Verse 30:

Then the Messenger (Muhammad,) will say: "O my Lord! Truly my people took this Qur'an for just foolish nonsense."
(English - Yusuf Ali)
