All history written under the rule of tyrants is based on heresy and can never be trusted. Those who write about Umayyads or even Sahaba Karam, depends on these writers and create opinions. This may be for many reasons, such as Lust for recognition, strengthening the opinion of their particular school of thought or more sinister being to reinforce the beliefs of their particular sects.
Knowingly or unknowingly these writers portray the teachings of Rasulallah in a poor form. They are out to prove that his teaching was so poor that the Sahaba started squabbling for power immediately upon his passing on, followed by battles. The battle of Camel, which is supposed to have 10,000 lives of people of same faith lost ….. slaughtering each other, and still the leaders of both sides free from responsibility, then the battle of siffeen where 100,000 plus lives were lost and both leaders for some and one leader for some free from accountability, and finally a great divide among Muslims where the Grandson of Rasul was mercilessly killed and all Muslims, excepting a handful going out of Islam.
All this to ridicule the ideology of Quran.
Dr. Shabbir is the best person to comment on this as he has already written much in his books “Criminals of Islam” also “Islam: The true history and false beliefs”.
