Quran is stressing upon following the Divine Laws but the Persian fake Imams copied five times prayers from their Zoroastrian religion and mixed it in Islam Deen of Quran. Their mission was to create difficulties so that Muslims must abandon Islam Deen and they were successful.
The word Salaat mentioned in Quran does not mean reading prayers.
Quran is a well-detailed book explaining all the life pertaining issues. There is nothing mentioned in Quran about the total units? How many Farz, Sunnat, and Naffals? What to read in each unit?

There are no such commandments in Quran to read five-time prayers a day. Plus Tahjud and Tharavhee. These five times prayers have indeed extended the life span of all the devotees.
