Your response makes lot of sense. The jihadis have hijacked the Kashmiri cause and completely fouled it up. The best option for Pakistan is to get off the religious and political rhetoric and, similar to India, merge the Azad Kashmir into Pakistan opening it up for real estate development and tourism. Some Pakistanis within Pakistan and overseas have lots of money to invest in the real estate provided they are given security and assurance that their investments will not go to waste.
Religious zealots have always been the biggest hurdle in the progress of Pakistan. Nobody in the leadership seems to have the conviction or the courage to keep them at bay and let the country progress. World is progressing economically and scientifically while majority of our folks are still focussing on resolving religious controveries.
