"Aqeeqah" is not ordained by Allah. Obviously then, the exalted Prophet would not have ordained it.

The so-called Imams adopted another Jaahiliyyah custom from the Bible, that of blood sacrifice, and Islamized it through fabricated Hadith as Aqeeqah.
To this day N2I Muslims believe in blood sacrifice upon the birth of a child. The fabricated Hadith kept alive by tradition commands them to sacrifice one goat if a daughter is born and two goats if a son is born. [Notice the discrimination right in the beginning?]

Then the baby’s head must be shaved on the seventh day and silver of equal weight to the hair distributed among the poor as Sadaqah (charity). Imagine the weight of silver making mockery of Sadaqah. The male child must be circumcised on the eighth day (why not weigh the prepuce too against silver?) The babies must be named on the seventh day.

Here is the height of calumny, “Abi Jeeran heard it from Sha’ba who heard from someone he forgot, he from him whom narrated a repented Khariji and he from him who died at age 16, he had heard from his great great grandfather, and he from Abu Huraira who said that Rasulullah said that a child’s soul is held as a collateral (Raheen) by Allah until his Aqeeqah is done, or the Rasool said whatever he said.” Note that Muhammad (S) is not reported to have performed 'Aqeeqah' on any of his family's children.
