On PM Imran Khan's maiden visit to USA...
By Air Cdre Sajad Haider SJ ex Defence Attache to USA...

This is the first visit of a Pakistani leader which received thundering reception from hearts and souls, not from stomach and pocket. NAWAZ was a shame on each visit. If you were to hear the stories of his colossal faux pax in White House while his family at Blair House was bust shopping diamonds, watches and accoutrements. Much to the shock of our ambassador, a very outstanding professional. I was in DC as Air Attaché when ZAB came. It was a different level with the US leaders but there were no passionate receptions by Pak diaspora. Yes, 40 or so Limos at NY N DC. I happened to be there when BB visited. The best Ambassador Pakistan ever had, Jamshed Marker was very perturbed at the ostentatious spending on stretch limos, hotel rooms and high end reception at 5 Star Madison Hotel. I was there at the reception. So this is a moment of great pride for Pakistanis to see a new powerful sinewy of Pakistan NEVER EVER SEEN BEFORE ( the 1958 to 68 visits were selling sovereignty of Pak for begging for aid n weapons). This is a face the QuaideAzam would have wished for Pakistan. Gravitas and elan in shalwar Kameez (you May see a new trend in west by Giorgio Armani, Zeigna, Mani, Valentino n Versace deigns) inspired by the stunner I.K. His eloquence with Donald n his coterie will stun them with truth never heard from a Pakistani leader, with ‘No more, Do more’ and compromise or diamond Cartier cuff links as offerings to Bill Clinton by Convict NAWAZ. It will be Pakistan with pride and equally measured respect for American nation. Allah guide you through the path full of pot holes created by N & PPP, JUI, ANP n other traitors.
