Happy mothers' day; the original was started by mothers calling for peace
so let us honor that and reject the war monger' attempts to start more wars
for profit. I also celebrate my birthday this week. If you want to send a
gift, donate to the great work here: http://palestinenature.org/donations Using
largely volunteer efforts and local donations, the Palestine Institute for
Biodiversity and Sustainability (PIBS) and its offspring, the Palestine
Museum of Natural History (PMNH) and ecological botanical gardens at
Bethlehem University were started in 2014. PMNH opened to the public in
2017 and its cultural heritage exhibit (first of its kind in quality in our
region) opened April 2019. Our vision is sustainable human and natural
communities/ecosystems. Our mission focuses on work to research, education
about, and conservation of our natural world, culture and heritage. Our
motto is RESPECT – first for ourselves, then for others, then for the
environment. By having visitors at the museum who interact with staff and
exhibits and having beneficiaries for our projects of sustainable
development, society is transformed. We already helped thousands of school
and university students as well as thousands of visitors over the past two
years via our environmental and agricultural awareness programs. For some
detail on the most recent activities that transform our society, see our
last annual report here:

The fable of the lion and three bulls and the fate of countries like Iran,
Venezuela, Russia, China and even England and France. By Mazin Qumsiyeh

[BTW the sabotage of ships in the gulf clearly fits the patterns of
instigation to war that is so common before imperial and colonial powers
attack other countries. I was in the United Arab Emirates recently and all
I could say to my Emirati friends: do not let them use you to attack Iran.
Remember the black bull.]
