1. Neither Me’raaj nor Namaz is found in the Quran.
2. It appears to me that the main theme of Me’raaj revolves around the five daily prayers.
3. Is it possible that the story of “Me’raaj” was concocted by the Persian Imams to justify solely the five prayers, exactly like their Zoroastrian ancestors, in lieu of establishing the rule of law in accordance with the Quranic commandments (Aqeem-us-Salaat wa Aatuz Zakat)?
4. Since the story is not logically acceptable, at least to me, does it not make sense in discounting any mandates resulting from the story?
