Most Muslims dismiss the theory that Jesus died in Kashmir only because the false prophet Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani wrote about it. His assertion was copied from the 17th & 18th century research of some Europeans.

Agree or disagree with it but the documentary is very interesting. I have known the reports for years. The Qur'an neither confirms 'Jesus in Kashmir' nor denies it.
23:50 And We made the son of Mary and his mother a symbol (of Our grace). We gave them abode on a hilly resort providing tranquility and fresh water springs (RABWAH - as they migrated from Jerusalem after the attempted crucifixion. See www.tombofjesus.com).
Note: I have seen the site in 1972. Local people living right there in Srinagar Kashmir call it the grave 'of a 16th century saint' and strongly reject this Jesus 'fable' as 'hoax'. Qadianis have named their center in Pakistan as RABWAH.
