HISTORY OF THE QUR’ÂN IS WITHIN THE QUR’ÂN:

I have attached a 'so called hadis' on how a goat ate a verse of Al-Qur'an that was 'written on a leaf'😳

In the light of the following verses can any true believer in Al-Qur'an accept such nonsense?

Refer to chapter 15 v 9 Allah says He will safe guard / protect His Book

chap 41 v 41 / 42, no falsehood can approach Al-Qur'an, no corruption can take place in IT, - IT is an Invincible Book etc

Yet according to Bukari Allah could not protect HIS verse from a goat . Bukari makes a mockery of Al-Qur'an!

What a mockery! Please show them this attachment.

HISTORY OF THE QUR’ÂN IS WITHIN THE QUR’ÂN:

The Qur’ân provides its own history. Allâh has made sure that the history of His revelation is recorded within His Book. The following are just a few of similar verses that are spread throughout the Qur’ân. When one studies the Qur’ân one will notice how scores of verses connect to each other to explain the messages of Al Qur’ân. This method is known as Tasreef. Also, one must take note that most verses contain multiple bits of information.

THE QUR’ÂN GIVES THE NAME OF ITS AUTHOR – Almost identical verses:

[40:2] “The Revelation of this Book is from Allâh, Exalted in power, full of Knowledge,”-

[45:2] “The Revelation of the Book (Qur’ân) is from Allâh the Exalted in power, full of wisdom.”

[46:2] “The Revelation of the Book (Qur’ân) is from Allâh the Exalted in power, full of wisdom.” ~ (note the Qur’ân is always referred to as a Book, and not once did the unbelievers dispute this point, otherwise it would have been recorded in the Qur’ân. Every other accusation is recorded in the Qur’ân and is refuted comprehensively, e.g. poet (52:30-31), forger (16:101), imposter 38:86), soothsayer (52:29), possessed (7:184) etc)

IT NAMES ITSELF THE TITLE QUR’ÂN[1]:

For instance in the following verse 3 important points are mentioned:

The month in which the Qur’ân was revealed, and the time
The name of the Revelation
The Qur’ân is a Guidance and Judgement

[2:185] “Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur’ân, as a guide to mankind, also Clear (Signs) for guidance and Judgment (between right and wrong). […].”

[97:1] “We have indeed revealed this (Qur’ânic message) in the night of power:” (Laylatul Qadr)

TO WHOM THE QUR’ÂN WAS REVEALED

The following ayât state 5 important points:

The name of the Revelation is mentioned again
The Revelation is revealed to Allâh’s messenger, and the Messenger’s name is mentioned
Allâh is witness that He sent the Revelation to Muhammad (as)
The benefits for those who believe in the Qur’ân
Before the Revelation the Prophet did not recite any book to his people to guide them; also he could neither write before and after the Revelation, as is mentioned in 7:158, that the Prophet was an Ummi.
The Prophet did not know what was Îmân and what was wa’hy / Revelation

[50:1] “Qaf: by the glorious Qur’ân, thou (Muhammad) art Allâh’s Messenger...”

[48:29] “Muhammad is the Messenger of Allâh. […]”

[47:2] “But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in the (revelation) sent down to Muhammad - for it is the truth from their Rabb, - He (Allâh) will remove from them their ills and improve their condition.”

[4-166] “… Allâh bears witness that what [i.e. Qur’ân] He (i.e. Allâh) hath sent unto thee (i.e. Muhammad) He (i.e. Allâh) hath sent from His (i.e. Allâh’s own) knowledge and the malâ’ikah bear witness: but enough is Allâh for a witness.”

[29:48] “And thou (Muhammad) wast not (able) to recite a Book before this (Qurân came), nor art thou (Muhammad) (able) to transcribe it with thy right hand: in that case, indeed, would the talkers of vanities have doubted.”

[42:52] “And thus have We (Allâh), by Our Command, sent inspiration to thee (Muhammad): thou (Muhammad) knewest not (before) what was Revelation (wâhy), and what was Faith (îmân); but We (Allâh) have made the (Qur’ân) a Light, wherewith We (Allâh) guide such of Our servants as We (Allâh) will; and verily thou (Muhammad) dost guide (men) to the Straight Way,”-

THE FOLLOWING VERSES MAKE MANY IMPORTANT POINTS

The language it was revealed in
The Arabic language is the perfect language to convey the message of Al-Qur’ân
It addresses those who apply their intellect and to study the Revelation
The name of the Book is again mentioned
An accusation of the unbelievers is nullified
To whom the Book was revealed through wa’hy / inspiration
Allâh sets out the warnings through this Revelation
The Prophet did not recite any Book prior to the Qur’ân to his people for guidance
Al-Qur’ân confirms the Revelation of Nabi Mûsa, At Taurat in Al- Qur’ân
The Qur’ânic ayât are explained in detail

[41:3] “A Book (Qur’ân), whereof the verses are explained in detail; - a Qur'ân in Arabic, for people who understand;”-

[41:44] “Had We (Allâh) sent this as a Qur'ân (in the language) other than Arabic, they (the unbelievers) would have said: ‘why are not its verses explained in detail?” […]!”

[26:195] “In the perspicuous Arabic tongue.”

[16:103] “We (Allâh) know indeed that they (the unbelievers) say; ‘it is a man that teaches him’; the tongue of him they wickedly point to is notably foreign, while this Arabic, pure and clear.”

[42:7] “Thus have We (Allâh) sent by inspiration to thee (Muhammad) an Arabic Qur'ân: that thou (Muhammad) mayest warn the mother of cities (Makkah) and all around her (the entire world[2]), - and warn (mankind) of the Day of Assembly, of which there is no doubt: (when) some will be in the garden, and some in the Blazing Fire.”

[43:3] “We (Allâh) have made it a Qur'ân in Arabic, that ye (mankind) may be able to understand[3] (and learn wisdom).”

[46:12] “And before this, was the Book of Mûsa (At- Taurât) as a guide and a mercy: and this Book (Al-Qur’ân) confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust, and as glad tidings to those who do right.”

[20:113] “Thus have We (Allâh) sent this down - an Arabic Qur'ân - and explained therein in detail some of the warnings, in order that they may be conscious of Allâh, or that it may cause their remembrance (of Him).”

[39:28] “(It is) a Qurân in Arabic, without any crookedness (therein): in order that they may guard against evil.”

THE QUR'ÂN WILL ALWAYS BE PROTECTED BY ALLÂH

[15:9] “We (Allâh) have, without doubt, sent down the Message (Qur’ân); and We (Allâh) will assuredly guard it (Qur’ân) (from corruption).”

[41:41] “Those who reject the Qur’ânic Message when it comes to them (are not hidden from us). And indeed it is an Invincible Book of Exalted power.”

[41:42] “No falsehood can approach it (i.e. Qur’ân) from before or behind it: it is sent down by one full of Wisdom, worthy of all praise.”(no corruption at any point in time whether in the past, present or future can attack the Qur’ân)

GUARANTEE THAT THE PROPHET WILL NEVER FORGET THE REVELATION

[87:6] “By degrees shall We (Allâh) teach thee (Muhammad) to declare (the Message of the Qurân), so thou (Muhammad) shalt not forget,”

THE PROPHET IS GUARANTEED PROTECTION

[5:67] “O Messenger; Proclaim the (message) which hath been sent to thee (Muhammad) from thy Rabb. If thou (Muhammad) didst not, thou wouldst not have fulfilled and proclaimed His mission. And Allâh will defend thee (Muhammad) from mankind (who mean mischief). For Allâh guideth not those who reject faith.”

THE ARRANGEMENT OF THE ENTIRE QUR’ÂN WAS PART OF THE DIVINE SCHEME AND THE PROPHET UNDER DIVINE GUIDANCE DICTATED TO HIS SCRIBES THE EXACT SEQUENCE OF WORDS, VERSES AND CHAPTER, AS THE QUR’ÂN WAS REVEALED

[75:18] “But when We (Allâh) have promulgated it, follow thou (Muhammad) its recital (as promulgated):”

[25:32] “Those who reject Faith say: “Why is not the Qur’ân revealed to Him all at once? Thus (is it revealed), that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We (i.e. Allâh) have rehearsed it to thee in slow, well-arranged stages, gradually.”

[25:5] “And they (non-believers) say: ‘tales of the ancients which he (the Prophet) has got reduced to writing and then (this written material) is further reproduced before him (for final checking) morning and evening’ (iktataba-hâ fahiya tumlâ ‘alayhi bukratanwwa ’asîlâ) Translation by Dr. Kamal Omar)

This verse informs us that the unbelievers themselves were witnesses to the very fact that the Prophet was dictating and checking the writing down of the Qur’ân by his scribes on a daily basis. The following verses of the Qur’ân further substantiate that the Qur’ân was recorded in writing during the lifetime of the Prophet.

[80:11-16] “[…] (The Qur’ân is) in Books held (greatly) in Honour, Exalted (in dignity), kept pure and holy, (written) by the hands of scribes- honourable and pious and just.”

[68:1] “Nun. By the Pen and the (record) which (men) write,”-

[96:4-5] “He (i.e. Allâh) who taught (the use of) the pen, - taught human beings that which they knew not.”

Note in chapter 2 verse 282, which is one of the longest verses in the Qur’ân, the writing of contracts is made compulsory. One will then appreciate how much more important it is to write down the revelation.

ALLÂH ALONE EXPLAINS THE AL-QUR’ÂN: (stated in multiple ayâts including):

[75:19] “Nay more, it is for Us (Allâh) to explain it (and make it clear):”

[25:33] “And no question do they bring to thee (Muhammad) but We (Allâh) reveal to thee the truth and the best explanation (thereof).”

Al-QUR’ÂN IS THE MOST WEIGHTY IN EVIDENCE

[6:19] “Say: ‘What thing is most weighty in evidence?’ Say: ‘Allâh is witness[4] between me and you; this Qur’ân (the most weighty in evidence) had been revealed to me (i.e. Muhammad) by inspiration, that I (i.e. Muhammad) may warn you and all whom it (i.e. Qur’ân) reaches. Can you possibly bear witness that besides Allâh there is another Deity? Say: ‘Nay! I (i.e. Muhammad) cannot bear witness!’ Say: ‘But in truth He is the one Allâh, and I (i.e. Muhammad) am truly am innocent of (your blasphemy of) joining others with Allâh’.”

[6:114] “Say: “Shall I seek for judge other than Allâh? - when He (i.e. Allâh) it is Who (i.e. Allâh) hath sent unto you the Book (i.e. Qur’ân), explained in detail. They know full well, to whom We (i.e. Allâh) have given the Book, that it (i.e. Qur’ân) hath been sent down from thy Rabb in Truth. Never be then of those who doubt.”

ALLÂH ALONE EXPLAINS THE Al-QUR’ÂN - additional references:

[6:55] “Thus do We (Allâh) explain the Signs in detail: that the way of the sinners may be shown up.”

[7:32] “[…] Thus do We (Allâh) explain the Signs in detail for those who understand[5]”

[7:52] “For We (Allâh) had certainly sent unto them a Book (Qur’ân), based on knowledge, which We (Allâh) explained in detail,- a guide and a Mercy to all who believe.”

[7:174] “Thus do We (Allâh) explain the Signs in detail; and perchance they may turn (unto Allâh).”

[10:24] “[…] Thus do We (Allâh) explain the Signs in detail for those who reflect (use their intelligence).”

[13:2] “[…] He (Allâh) doth regulate all affairs, explaining the Signs in detail that ye may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Rabb[6].”

[16:89] “One Day We (Allâh) shall raise from all peoples a witness against from amongst themselves: and We (Allâh) shall bring thee (Muhammad) as a witness[7] against these (thy people and We (Allâh) have sent down to thee (Muhammad) the Book (Qurân) explaining all things, a Guide, a Mercy, glad tidings to Muslims.”

[17:12] “[…] all things have We (Allâh) explained in detail.”

[18:54: “We (Allâh) have explained in detail in this Qur’ân , for the benefit of mankind, every kind of similitude: but man is, in most things contentious,”

[41:3] “A Book (Qurân), whereof the verses are explained in detail; - a Qur’ân in Arabic, for people who understand;”-

[25:33] “And no question do they bring to thee (Muhammad) but We (Allâh) reveal to thee (Muhammad) the truth and the best explanation (thereof).”

WESTERN CRITICS

Western critics of the Qur’ân frequently point to the allegedly “incoherent” references to Allâh - often in one and the same phrase - as “He”, “Allâh”, “We” or “I”, with the corresponding changes of the pronoun from “His” to “Ours” or “My”, or from “Him” to “Us” or “Me”. They seem to be unaware of the fact that these changes are not accidental, and not even what one might describe as “poetic licence”, but are obviously deliberate, a linguistic device meant to stress the idea that Allâh is not a “person” and cannot, therefore, be really circumscribed by the pronouns applicable to finite beings.

THE LAW OF INTERPRETATION OF THE QUR’ÂN IS RECORDED WITHIN THE QUR’ÂN IN CHAPTER 3 VERSE 7:

Muhkamât (absolutely clear and lucid, decisive); they are Ummul-Kitâb (the core of the original foundation of all revelation; the Essence of Allâh’s Will and Law; and the basis of the Qur’ân and also its protector, hence literally the ‘mother of the Book’); and others are Mutashâbihât (allegorical), which are subject to the decisive verses meanings.
