In Response To: "There is no compulsion in religion"??? (Jimmy Jumshade, Tx)

A religion that is accepted under compulsion has no hold on the mind.

So ‘there is no compulsion in Islam’. But you say ‘there is compulsion in Islam’. These two statements can’t be mixed together to make a point. If you are a non-Muslim there is certainly no compulsion on you to accept Islam. But once you have accepted Islam you have to go by its norms. When in Rome, live as the Roman do, when elsewhere, live as they live elsewhere.

Most rituals among Muslims are man-made but you don’t get a ticket for not observing them.
