Not sure how Br. Sidqi may like it. But anything rhythmical in words and sentences don’t mean they can always make tall sense. Why deride capitalism wholesale when it has benefited the world in far greater scale than at any time in the past, despite its shortcomings. Overall the average living standards have risen around the world, the aid, donation, charities flowing to the poor countries has also risen. Thanks to capitalism than any other system could have achieved it.
Not everyone is endowed with equal vision and ability. Those who can make money can make it for others also. Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and many others have donated most their possessions to support the poor.
It is true that modern capitalism prompts people to exist for money instead of the reverse. But that may be alright. The general instinct in life has always been the desire to make life comfortable and live in abundance. How does it contradict between what we are and what we ought to be?
The true danger lies within us only when our love of money replaces the love of God. Where does capitalism fit into it? We are only good at creating external Satan and throwing stones at it like in Jamraat. I am sure you may also have thrown stone at it. But never to see Satan within.
