Qur'anic principles are universal and for all time, you might disagree on some or take a different interpretation on others as circumstances change but having principles is better than having none. As long as these transactions do not violate the rights of human beings then they can be conducted in any other manner that is required. What they should not and cannot do is exploit the weak for the benefit of the mighty; rich cannot use their wealth to gain more wealth at expense of the needy.
Trump has put tariffs on Chinese imports, but it is American companies sacking US workers earning $20-00 per hour and getting Chinese ones to make same goods at $5-00 per hour that is the problem. You say that China man is better off, but what about jobless US one? Also, American economy can afford to pay Americans for making these goods, it benefits society more to keep it in-house, but exploiting capitalism cannot help but exploit because it has 'dollar' as its god.
