Quran doesn’t prescribe punishment for blasphemy. Blasphemy law protects nothing but N2I Muslims own sense of insecurity that resulted from their own historical failings about the true Islam.

But I should agree with you, provided promulgating blasphemy law makes Muslims more educated, prosperous, no fight, united, enlightened to be a worthy asset to the world. Do you think the law has such legislative wisdom and force for good within it?

I watched video clips showing groups of protesters chanting religious slogans burnt tires and attacked sweet shops robbing all the Rasgullas. Having in mind that greater the pandemonium the stronger their belief secured. Reading your post, for a moment, I felt like Br Sidqi was also among them. The lady must be killed otherwise the whole world will have nothing else to do but blaspheme if without the law!
