Most Respected Dr. Shabbir,

Why are so many Pakistanis in a frenzy about cases of alleged blasphemy? Most of these accusations are probably false anyway, but even if they all were true, why will thousands take to the streets to demand death for the accused? People who have murdered supporters of restricting the blasphemy laws are showered with rose petals by lawyers (!). It's really hard to reconcile modern-day Pakistan with Jinnah's vision for the country at its birth. Could you please explain to us (foreigners) what happened?
