Kashogi was a wanted man by the Saudi's as he criticised their regime, including human rights violations. He did his best to evade capture but failed. Kashogis son is under house arrest in saudi for the 'sins of the father'!
A nation can be judged for how it responds to criticism and the Saudi's pick up and stone those who do so, much worse than those who only threatened to stone Messengers who came to reform their societies.
I feel that when one person dies we can relate more to this than the deaths of many, and I am not belittling the above post regarding many kashogis killed by the west etc, but as usual when a so-called muslim or a muslim country does the dirty, there are those who say so what, others have done the same and not condemned an act that the "best of peoples" should not be doing!
When will we learn, or are we destined to be replaced by better people who will not be like us?
