Dr Saab cannot say more due to his better half watching over his shoulder! LOL
Here are my quick fire Qur'anic thoughts on this topic, open to discussion for all the other brave men to participate in if they have permission to do so.
Someone must look after home.
Someone must become pregnant and look after children.
Someone must work, to provide for family to have a home, food and clothes.
Women can do all the above so let us make women do all the above since men cannot become pregnant; women are therefore superior to men.
4:34 …..God has made men to excel in some areas and women to excel in some areas. Men should ensure that women are able to stand at their feet in the society. So, righteous women are obedient to God’s ordinances and guard the moral values even in privacy, the values that God has commanded to be guarded.
Stay within your ‘natures’ but allow each other to flourish, maximising their full potentials.
If women were obligated to provide for men in the same way that men are obligated to provide for them, then would this lead to a better family home, or would burdens be placed upon women more than they are already burdened by their own responsibilities?
I understand your question, but someone has to be responsible.
