My dear Jawaid Bhai,

In your Post of 27th July, as reply to my Post of 12th July, you state:

[I read your post again to improve my intelligence.

"In simple form, these teachings include the Unity of God; unity in the teachings of all the Books and Prophets of God; unity between the Word of God and the Work of God in the Signs and science of Nature and in the history of religion; unity between the Word of God and the sayings and doings of the Prophets; unity between the world of God and the world of Caesar; and so on."
The unity in teachings is clearly a fact. What is incorrect is to assume that every word of the Bible is true, we must use the Qur'an to judge what is right and what has been interpolated by other men. ].

Thank God that at least you are now agreeing to some of the things I am saying.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hence, now that you agree that “we must use the Qur'an to judge what is right and what has been interpolated by other men” in the Bible”, is good news because this is exactly what I have been telling you all along.

The Qur’an is not only to observe the Truth and Falsehood of the Bible only but has also been sent to establish the Truth and Falsehood of your science books on Evolution, which deny the existence of God, the Hadith and every teaching of every compartments of our lives, both secular and religious.

DO YOU AGREE?

If you agree then let us now try and understand what the Creeds of Abraham are?

I said, “The Creeds of Abraham are a set of beliefs that Abraham founded based on his human intellect of observation and reason”. This constitutes the core teachings of the Deen of Allah.

In the Qur’an, Allah expands on these core teachings to make them clear both in knowledge and observation. For example, from observation of the “natural laws of the different dominions of the heavens and the earth” it is observable that God exists and many of His attributes are clear, but is not clear whether He has wife or partners, etc. Hence, the Qur’an gives us all the details of it, telling us what is True and what is False.

Likewise, salaat is also a core teaching observed in the creation of Allah but according to the Creeds of Abraham it is not clearly observable. Hence, Qur’an expands on it instructing humans to perform a ritual ablution before salaat and in the standing position to recite the Qur’an and in keeping with the tradition of Abraham to fall on the face like Jesus fell on his face when he prayed salaat (Qur’an ). It also gives us time and place of salaat.

Similarly, there are many things in the “natural laws of the heavens and the earth” like Abraham did, neither he nor we could be sure whether it was core teaching of our deen or not. For example, like eating pork, dog meat, etc. Allah makes this clear in the Qur’an us and the Jews.

Then, there are things like circumcision which are not mentioned in the Qur’an. If you can prove that it is an interpolation in the Bible that Abraham, John the Baptist, Jesus, etc, circumcised and Muslims during the time did not do so, then it will be right for you not to circumcise. And if you are not sure and it is not mentioned in the Qur’an seeing that the Prophet
Abraham was chosen “model” for mankind, would be a sin for a Muslim to circumcise or would he have a choice like keeping a beard without saying it his religion to do so?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now let’s move on to question of Evolution, which you state is fully supported by the Qur’an?

Darwin’s Theory of Evolution does not support the view or the fact that God initiated or caused the BIG BANG?

The six God days of creation in Qur’an involve giving “shape and form” to the planet earth and establishing sustenance for creatures, which God was going to established on planet earth (41:9-10, 4 God days) after selecting planet eart000000h after the BIG BANG and establishing the seven firmaments of the Heaven and decorating the lower heaven with moon, stars, etc, (41:12, 2 God days).

This are the six God days or 6000 earth years (22:47) of creation of the heavens and earth, which do not include the creation of Man or animals and creatures that God did not create for their and our sustenance because no where in the six days God says He did so?

The Qur’an demonstrates that every creation of God was a creation “the like of which did not exist before”. That He took another billion earth years to create all other animal life forms and Man, is possible seeing that He took six thousand earth years to give shape and form to the planet earth and develop the sustenance of all animal and human life on planet earth.

Please explain how Darwin’s Theory of Evolution is explained in the Qur’an and where have I gone wrong in my knowledge of the Qur’an in this matter?

Best Regards,
AK Sayed (South Africa).
