This theory seems clear and accurate and it is not arbitrary meaning.
As you know, Alif (or Alef) in phoenician means Cow, and its letter is just like a head of cow, and this is the root of Alif in Arabic and Hebrew and Alpha in Greek and A in Latin/English.
- This is a brief but interesting introduction too:
- And this is a good article about Semitic letters and their meanings:
My current opinion about Muqataat is what I learned from you that Muqataat are the abbreviations of God's attributes and some other things that mentioned in the first century books, but if you find this new theory (that is Semitic meanings of letters as the meanings of Muqataat) more accurate, please verify it, and please teach me more.
And if this theory is correct and accurate, ****please add these new meanings of Muqataat to the next edition of QXP (QXPVII)****
Thank you so much my respected teacher.
