Center for Inquiry Sues CVS for Fraud
Homeopathy is a massive, multi-billion dollar consumer fraud. Retailers such as the drugstore chain CVS offer consumers homeopathic "remedies" on the same shelves as real, scientifically proven medicine as a way to sell sugar pills at pharmaceutical prices. Now, the Center for Inquiry is acting to put a stop to it.
We filed a lawsuit against CVS in the District of Columbia on behalf of the general public.
Science matters, and we have a strong case against the sales and marketing practices of CVS. Protecting consumers from the profiteers of pseudoscience is an important part of our work. Thank you for making it possible!
