‘From magical thinking to critical thinking’ – makes tons of sense and it is truly Islamic thinking.

Miracle mind or unenlightened mind recite mantras to cure piles. Critical mind invents its medicinal or surgical cure. Because our life depends on our knowledge of causal connections. Life would be hard if we do not expect fractured bone while jumping from the roof.

Though secularism makes some sense here on earth when we are alive. But religion has to do with death. Since there is no guarantee that a living secular society is also sin free society. The firmness of death in religion cannot be fiction and it categorically controls human unrestrained behavior than is possible through moving ideas of free thinking. Religion is grounded in faith and encapsulating it into reason may be futile and harm mankind.
