Janab Qureshi saheb,

I totally disagree with the title of your write up “Dispensation of Justice is Becoming a Mockery in Pakistan”. Every sensible Pakistani is happy that after 70 years the judiciary is independent and doing a right job which was held up by the so-called democratic government in Pakistan. In the past, the government of Nawaz Sharif used the judiciary as his slave during his 3 tenure as the Prime Minister of Pakistan. There are plenty of examples and one of them was Judge Abdul Qayyum and unfortunately, the time has gone and this time ‘Judge Abdul Qayyum’ has been dumped and buried under the earth.

The current Supreme Court Judge Mian Saqib Nisar is doing his job, according to the parameter of the law, but he is showing his leniency towards the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family including his brother Shahbaz Sharif and other PML-N corrupt leaders.

You have mentioned that Mian Saqib Nisar and his bench look like tilted in favor of some politicians against the others. You did not mention the name, but one can understand that who you are pointing to. Nawaz Sharif has made out a historical corruption in the history of Pakistan and he supposed to face the consequences. For your kind information that not only the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is being targeted under the judiciary, but the PTI top leader Jahangir Khan Tareen has also been disqualified for life and hopefully, the Awami Muslim league leader Shaikh Rashid will also be disqualified if convicted of hiding his assets. The judgment is pending and just wait.

The Supreme Court has closed his eyes and he did not take any so moto action against the violation of NAB orders that was issued to put the names of Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and her husband, Capt. Safdar on Exit Control List but the Ministry of Interior has blown away this NAB Court’s order and the accused criminals are moving freely around the world. Ultimately, these three are leaving for London tomorrow on the plea that the wife of Nawaz Sharif is seriously ill. They can go to see their ailing wife and mother on humanitarian ground, but there is no such order issued and they did not bother to seek permission to leave the country because they are not on the ECL. The absconded federal Minister of Finance Ishaq Dar, who fled the country with the help of current Prime Minister Khaqan Abbasi, who allowed him to take his official airplane to escape from the country. Dar is enjoying in London and the Judge has just closed his eyes and no question asked for this criminal act by the current PM Abbasi and the Interior Minister. Is this action is not showing that the Judges have been tilted towards the government of PML-N and his leadership? Unfortunately, the judiciary is working very slow and is on the path of delay tactic.

The Supreme court is not taking any action against the father and the daughter(Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz) against their routine contempt of court in their public address. What happened to the case of Daniyal Aziz and Talal Chaudhry regarding contempts of court? This is all "Noora Kushti" show between PML-N and Judiciary before the Pakistani public.

What about the Model Town massacre by the Punjab Police, where 14 unarmed innocents men and women were brutally killed, and no action has so far been taken. After several repeated protest and sit-ins now, the Supreme court is promised to investigate this murder case after 4 years.

Unfortunately, the PML-N is a group of felons who are running the government. One after another public office holders is becoming the looter, money launderer, under the umbrella of PML-N government. No one is a holy cow and I think everyone regardless of his political affiliation should be brought to justice and punished according to law of the land.

I have many more reasons to disagree with your write up about the judiciary, but I totally agree that the judiciary needs reforms, according to the changing world. And the rules and orders of the year 1700 & 1800 should be abolished and replaced by the most revolutionary and easy judiciary systems so that a common citizen can get the justice rapidly.

No one will dare to disagree with your valid points from number 1 to 16 what you have mentioned, and I wish if someone, from the Pakistani official, read your this article and try to implement these 16 points in the judicial system so that all common Pakistani get relief and live life with comfort.

Thank you for bringing your thoughts to us.

Thanks & regards,

Shah Siddiqui
