Peace Brother ,you are so correct,as no where in the Old Testament has any prophecy about a crucified,dying,dead and resurrected Messiah,not one single verse,also no where in the Old Testament has any prophecy about a virgin giving birth to a son,not one single verse, the very verse which misguided Christians say that "A virgin shall bring forth a son..." is incorrect as the verse says a young maiden,and as Rabbi Tovia pointed out that it has no reference to the Messiah,but some incident which happened in Old Testament times. Here are some more verses the "Salvation by shedding of blood theorists", should consider
Hosea6:6.For I desired mercy and not sacrifice;the knowledge of God
more than burnt offerings.
Isaiah55:6.Seek the LORD;and when you find him,call upon him while
he is near;
7.Let the sinner forsake his way,and the wicked man his thoughts;
and let him return to the LORD,and he will have mercy upon him;
and to our God,for he will abundantly pardon.
It really puzzles me,why would anybody,including Christians,would think that a Merciful; God would change His Divine System of mercy,compassion,love,and kindness,then demand a bloody sacrifice to appease Him.When all the Pagan Religions had that system, of human sacrifice,which was not part of the Revelation received by any Prophet.
And finally the same Revelation confirmed in "THE QUR'AN",it would make sense as I did,if all Christians would read the Qur'an,and ponder on its teaching,asking God for guidance and light,this also includes N2I who blindly follow blind Teachers,Scholars,Imams,Sheiks etc and believe in a host of non-Qur'anic teachings and laws.
