After Abraham rejected all the religions of his time based on sound reason and logic, God showed him “the natural laws of the different dominions of the heavens and the earth, so that he might with understanding have certitude”, (Al Qur’an 6:75).
The reason why God showed Abraham “the powers and the laws of the different dominions of the heavens and the earth” was to bring to his notice that out there, in “the different dominions of the heavens and the earth”, all of God’s creations practiced a natural and universal way of life (AdDeeni Haneefan), which did not divide or separate the secular and the religious.
For example, none of the creations out there were “science based” or “evidence based”. They established “certainty of knowledge” by the methodology of ilm-ul-yaqin, ayn-ul-yaqin and haqq-ul-yaqin. Hence, they accepted only that “science based” and “evidence based” knowledge that did not divide the secular and the religious, according to the knowledge of the Qur’an, which reduced Religion and Godless science to Reality by eliminating the dichotomy of the secular and religious and all extremists and fundamentalists teachings and practices within and between them that made them separate and exclusive.
Abraham was obliged to establish a Standard way of life (AdDeeni Haneefan) for all of humanity because he was created from the same “smoke” (interstellar dust and gas) like the rest of the creation. It suited him fine because he was also a person of pure natural beliefs (haneef) and also because it was not unreasonable and unscientific and did not compromise his intellect, for he could now believe in God and His Word without committing to the blind faith of religion and follow the secular and scientific path of the creations without being Godless.
Prophet Muhammad (s) was the best example of AdDeeni Haneefan in world history. He was only one “most extremely successful in both the secular and religious levels”. He was “Pope and Caesar in one”.
Therefore, to use the knowledge and the dictionary, Arabic or English, of theists, atheists, secularists, etc, of this world, which divide the secular and religious and make them hate one another for what they believe, is idiotic. To advice them on the Truth and Reality from Qur’an is highly rational, philosophical and political.
For example, to the feminist I would say God created man, not woman, as “vicegerent” and that man is permitted, according to the “natural laws of the different dominions of the heavens and the earth”, to marry as many women as he wishes, but to treat them with “justice”, and to the liberalists who sympathize and champion the cause of the LGBTQ community, I would say that their cause is not natural and universal to our universe.
Likewise, I would tell the secularist that their belief, that we should separate the secular and the religious and the state and the church, is not natural and universal to our universe and to the atheists I would tell them that their teaching of Evolution is conjecture and that they have no philosophy to challenge the Qur’an on this issue except conjecture.
Therefore, let’s come to terms with one another to create a world without theists, atheists, secularists, feminists, liberalists, etc, who divide the secular and religious and make us hate one another for what they want us to believe.
