Due to limited time, I am quickly going over your observation "which verse tells me if Zachariya made mehrab for her ...." Bhai there is no verse indicating any such thing as there is no verse indicating she got into the temple? What I presented were my conclusions based on what I see in those verses. My analysis are based on this premise: when she was in the temple, she was a ward of the temple. Zachariya could not be her care taker, rather it is the Temple. When Zachariya took her into his care, temple authorities effectively removed her from the temple. I am not into studying old history, if some well authoritative source informs me that no this premise is not correct, rather things were different like this or that in those days, I will revisit it.
I leave this discussion after reading your above reply. When others draw a conclusion on the basis of their understanding of Quranic ayats you demand references to specific verses. On the other hand you have the liberty of drawing conclusions form ayats as per your understanding.
At the end virgin birth or fatherless child, defying all logic and physical laws of creation, is an academic discussion and does not effect me as a human being striving to stay on the straight path and be beneficial to my surroundings.
