In your previous Post you used Muhammad Asad’s translation to defend your translation of 3:49.
Now you are using your translation of 3:49 to defend Muhammad Asad.
You are going round in circle.
Please don’t waste my time. Find a forward path and if you can’t then just give up and bring this discussion to an end.
Please note that the Qur’an was not sent down for only special people like you who claim to be the only interpreters of it. It was sent down for all the people of this world whom God gave the ability to think according to the natural methodology of ilm-ul-yaqin, ayn-ul-yaqin and haqq-ul-yaqin. Among them are people like the Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) and Prophet Muhammad (s) who did not go to school.
Can I claim on the Day of Judgment in my defense that the Qur’an was allegorical and I could not understand its Meaning and Message because I was a person of pure natural beliefs according to the natural methodology of ilm-ul-yaqin, ayn-ul-yaqin and haqq-ul-yaqin?
Hence, it is people like you that have made the Qur’an so allegorical that modernists, secularists, liberalists, feminists, etc, are taking advantage of it to promote their own agenda.
In my opinion, as a 77 year old, I can stick my head on the block and vouch that those that have a literal translation of the Qur’an make more sense than those who are allegorical.
