I think you deliberately avoid reading the Quran to judge what truths still remain in previous scriptures and instead believe every word in them.
Since the Bible was written by man it satisfies their baser needs, so some of you prefer it to the higher values of the Quran.
If you cannot find a ruling in the Quran, make it a creed of Abraham, and everything goes.
It is now not only Quran and Sunnah, but Quran, Sunnah and creed of Abraham.

5:104 When it is said to them, “Come to what God has revealed and to His Messenger, they say, "Enough for us is what we found our parents doing." What! Even though their parents had no knowledge whatsoever and no guidance?
