Your article says "Highly improbable" and the following ignored to believe an absurdity:
"I have been asked [about the virgin birth] many times," said Warren Booth, a leading expert in parthenogenesis at the University of Tulsa, "and honestly I can come up with no feasible explanation as to how a female that had abstained from intercourse could give birth to a child of either sex."
Mary was not a hermaphrodite or a plant, neither a lower life form, she was HUMAN. She was a normal human being who conceived normally to prove to her community that they could achieve greatness by following the divine revelation that Jesus brought. If Jesus had been 'unnatural' then he had no right to preach to normal people who would have used his 'virgin' birth as an excuse not to follow him. That is why the Quran declares that all messengers were human beings etc.
Please understand the point- normal human beings are chosen by Allah to give His message to other human beings who have no excuse for ignoring it, as the normal human messenger can understand and implement the message.
21:5 “Nay,” they say, "Muddled dreams! Nay, he has but invented it! Nay, he is but a poet! Let him then bring us a miracle (as we have heard), like the ones that were given tO Prophets of old!"
21:6 Not one of the communities before them that We (Our laws) destroyed, would ever believe (in their Messengers). Will these, then, believe?
21:7 For, before you We sent none but men to whom We granted revelation. So, (tell the deniers), “Ask the followers of previous reminders if you know not.” [12:109, 16:43]
21:8 We did not give them bodies that would not require food, nor were they immortal.
Bring your dreams and muddled thiughts of virgin birth, but know that the Quran says they were all natural human beings!
