If you are a “science based” or “evidence based” person, it is hardly likely that you would understand the Word of God in the Bible or the Qur’an, without knowing the fact that God created everything in our universe according to the Laws of Physics.

In the USA, the present government under Trump, under the auspices of Christian evangelism, has banned the word “science based”, “evidence based” and some other words like “fetus’ and “transgender”.

They have done this to protect their religion from atheism and secularism, but I am sorry to say that they will not succeed for very much longer to do so because their teaching of Trinity is against all logic and reason, which the atheists and secularists will exploit to obliterate their religion.

Hence, true believers of the Bible and Qur’an are ordinary people who live in this world according to the simple methodology of ilm-ul-yaqin (certainty of knowledge by inference and reasoning), ayn-ul-yaqin (certainty of knowledge by seeing and observing) and haqq-ul-yaqin (absolute knowledge, like this is a computer), which is neither strictly “science based” nor “evidence based”.
--------------------------------------------------------------

Hence, as a student of the Bible and the Qur’an, I would not discard “science based” and “evidence based” conclusions altogether like the Christians have done in the USA. I would try to understand it by stating that God created all things in our universe according the Laws of Physics and that the Laws of Physics on its own did create the universe.

Therefore, when Sarah showed astonishment to the news that a barren woman like her could have a baby at her age, it was not unfounded. She had no idea that God created her according to the Laws of Physics and that it would not be a “miracle” for Him to fix the problem of her bareness according to the Laws of Physics.
--------------------------------------------------------------

To understand the case of Sarah, let us try and understand the fact that God created all women not to bear a child after a certain age.

He did so according to the Laws of Physics.

If He wanted He could have allowed her to bear children right into her old age until she died taking with her unborn baby into the grave with her. But He did not do so because it is not easy for an old woman who is both mentally and physically weak to handle and raise a child in old age.

Hence, out of His mercy, He stopped her from having a baby after a certain age but He did not stop her husband from marrying a younger woman to have a child.
-------------------------------------------------------------

Scientists and atheists like Stephen Hawking who state that God did not create our universe and that the Laws of Physics created it must answer the question, “How did the Laws of Physics decide that a woman should not bear a child after a certain age and that only her husband should have the privilege to father a child even in his old age”.

In India, old couples who are childless are now buying eggs from younger women at an exorbitant price to have a child of their own but are learning the hard way that it is not easy to raise an infant at their age.

All praise and glory is due to God for taking our welfare into account in creating us.
-------------------------------------------------------------

Now, in this context, let’s look at the Virgin Birth of Jesus to Mary.

God creates many species, I repeat, MANY SPECIES, of plant and animal life on the planet. As His main design, He uses males and females to reproduce them.

But He also decides to create some species that would reproduce asexually.

Now He creates one human race from a single male and female because it was not logical to create many species of the human race like in plant and animal life. How could the Laws of Physics have known that it was not logical to create more than one human race?
--------------------------------------------------------------

Hence, under the circumstance, it was perfectly normal for Mary to react by asking, “How could she have a child without a man touching her?” and for Sarah to question how could a barren woman at her age bear a child.

All God is telling us in these stories of Sarah and Mary is that “science based” and “evidence based” people of this world should not limit their knowledge of Physics to only what God has created in this world but should go beyond it to understand the Hereafter.

God wants us to have full knowledge of the Laws of Physics that He has used to create this world because He wants us to inherit and rule over it.
--------------------------------------------------------------

Hence, in the context of the knowledge of the Qur’an to say that God was only informing Mary that she will marry and have a baby in the normal way that all women have a baby is not true.

How does one explain the following knowledge of the Qur’an:

• God addresses Jesus as son of Mary.
• When she comes home her people question her about having a baby without a husband.
• Allah gives a similitude that the creation of Jesus is like that of Adam, who did not have a father.
