Sorry to interject, brother Jawaid concluding “…Why can you not accept that when Allah decrees a thing it will come to pass by the natural processes He created and not having a husband to do the business will not result in a child just like Allah says He cannot have a son because He has no wife?” and then Br. Jawaid quotes 6:101.
I just want to highlight 6:101 does not support the above conclusion when viewed in the context in which 6:101 appears. In a set of verses 6:95-97, God is talking about His powers in general to bring forth living out of dead, the day from the night, and the stars for guidance, etc. In 6:98, God’s power to create MANKIND from ONE SOUL is mentioned followed by His powers to produce rain and various fruits etc. in 6:99. Then, 6:100-101
[6:100]: But they have attributed to Allah partners - the jinn, while He has created them - and they falsely attribute to Him SONS (banīna) and DAUGHTERS (wa-banātin) without knowledge. Exalted is He and high above what they attribute.
[6:101]: [He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How can be for Him a (biological) CHILD (waladun) WHILE THERE IS NOT A FEMALE COMPANION FOR HIM, and He CREATED EVERYTHING? And He is, of all things, Knowing.
[6:102]: THAT IS ALLAH , YOUR LORD; there is no deity except Him, the Creator of all things, so worship Him. And He is the Guardian over all things.
It is clear from the above, God is talking about three things: First, His absolute power to create everything from nothing as well as from created things. Second, His uniqueness, He being the only and only deity, thus, no partners, may those be attributed sons or daughters. Third, it is not logical to attribute biological children to God, since there is no female of His gender. This clearly refutes all claims that God has sons and daughters as His biological children. I fail to understand, how does this put a limit to God’s powers (natural or supernatural, whatever) to create something as He WILLS?
