Let’s check the anatomy of Dharna (agitation) in society. Where does the fonts of Dharna come from? It can come from two sources. From public feelings of inferiority or feeling of superiority against social average. When agitation is done in front of electric supply office, it essentially satiates the Miskeen people’s feelings of inadequacy because of no electricity at home.

The other Dharna comes from sense of superiority. A religious Dharna possesses a feeling of uprightness which must exert towards social corrections in society. The greater the feeling of such empowerment, the more powerful is the urge and emotional agitation. Dharna thus is the moto of reorganizing the society, right or wrong. Taliban, ISIS movements essentially is the mother of all Dharnas in the world. Bhutto’s downfall was the result of this kind. This is what we also witness in India.
