Nasreen Begum of Hyderabad who was trafficked to Oman from Dubai return safely:
Nasreen Begum resident of Kishan Bagh who was promised a job as a Beautician in Dubai, UAE with a good salary by Syed Sayeed of the same locality was taken to Dubai on 7th Oct 2017.
After she reached in Dubai she was kept in a locked room for 3 days at office of Stars Services Est in AL Ain, Dubai and was sold to an Omani National for 3.0 lakhs by Mohammed a Bangladeshi.
The said above office is run by three persons one from Bangladesh and two from Delhi & Kerala who are promising good jobs to Hyderabadi girls in KSA, UAE etc and selling them. After she reached Oman she was asked to work in min 4 houses without any proper accommodation, food & water.
She was denied even medicine when she fell ill many times. She was denied accesses to speak to her family. Somehow she called her mother in Hyderabad and informed about her ill-treatment and how she was taken to Oman. The family approached the local agent who had sent her but he refused to help and instead demanded Rs/ 2.0 lakhs to bring back her.
The travel agent gave one account number of Dubai agent and asked them to put Rs/ 20,000 in that account which they did but could not get the release of Nasreen Begum. Her mother approached Sri Satnarayana IPS (DCP) (SZ) Hyderabad Police for help on 17th Oct who intern asked the Bahadurpura Police to investigate the case and take necessary action against the travel agent.
The Bahadurpura Police could not arrest the local agent as his location was not known and phone was off. The family approached MBT Spokesman Amjed Ullah Khan and requested him to take up the case and rescue Mrs Nasreen Begum. Mr Khan wrote a letter to Smt Sushma Swaraj Minister for External Affairs Govt of India and also alerted the Indian Embassy in UAE and Masqat and requested to locate her and get her release.
Smt Sushma Swaraj while alerting the Embassy of UAE and Masqat also asked the Mr K T Rama Rao Minister for MA&UD, IT, NRI Dept to take action against travel agent for cheating her. Both the Embassies worked for more than 5 days and located her in Oman and she was transferred to Dubai then to Hyderabad today. She reached MBT office and thanked Mr Amjed Ullah Khan and also Smt Sushma Swaraj for her timely help. After she reached her home the Inspector of Police Bahadurpura met her and took her statement for further investigation against the human trafficking.
