A senior lawyer once told me that the best way to refute "expert" reports and complex arguments is to employ the tool of simple logic. I would propose that when those who subscribe to Hadith attempt to reason with us, use simple logic, infused with the Qur'an's premises:
Premise 1: (7:3) - "You shall all follow what has been revealed to you from your Lord and follow no masters other than Him. How seldom do you keep this in mind!"
Premise 2: (4:82) - "Will they not then, try to understand this Qur’an? If it were from other than God they would have found in it much contradiction and inconsistencies."
Premise 3: The Hadith is filled with myriad contradictions and inconsistencies. Insert multiple examples from the Hadith, as well as examples of how the Hadith contradicts the Qur'an.
Conclusion: Therefore, the Hadith is from other than God.
