3:23 Have you noted those who were given a share of the scripture? When they are invited to the Book of God to judge among them, a party of them turns away in displeasure.
I accept only one judge for my beliefs and acts.
The Jews pray like 'us'; the prayer was given to Abraham for 'us' to follow and handed down by our ancestors...etc all the same arguments for doing something that is not written in the Quran.
I was just watching a video by Rabbi Tovias Singer. He said that the Bible says Jesus was born of a virgin. No council had to be convened to debate this issue but on the other hand, councils after councils where thousands of bishops sat and debated what Jesus was; fully man, man-god, semi translucent being, or fully god in binarity or trinity. You see the connection? A belief that is fundamental to the Christians, the trinity, needed a vote by their lords and masters because it is not in the Bible.
Are you not doing the same? Relying on ancestors, the imams to tell you what and how to do something when it is not in the Quran?
Please do not say you are working on it. If you have to go to hundreds of verses to cobble together a prayer ritual, sujood here, rukoo there, times left right and centre, then something is wrong.
Anyway, the prayer ritual I gave you, have you matched every act with a Quran verse yet? Do so and I will resuscitate the birds and do namaz with them:
