The Road To Mecca, The Journey of Muhammad Asad رحمه الله (Leopold Weiss) (1900-1992) Video
Recall his evergreen masterpieces THE MESSAGE OF THE QUR'AN & THE ROAD TO MECCA among others.
Muhammad Asad was a close friend of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, right hand man of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Ambassador of Pakistan to the UN until 1952. Asad helped write the first constitution of Pakistan. He collaborated with Iqbal over-viewing THE RECONSTRUCTION OF RELIGIOUS THOUGHT IN ISLAM. I consider him as one of the founding fathers of Pakistan. He was, and is, an internationally acclaimed scholar of Islam.
