1. The H-govt should resign not only at the cancellation of the 16th amendment by the Supreme Court but also the vital specific details of the verdict seriously questioning the (already irreparably dented and eroded) moral and political authority of the govt to stay in power.

2. Also the H-govt should be held accountable for the defamation of court following the verdict and this morning's press conference by Law Minister Anisul Haque.

3. Former Awami Justice Khairul Haque should be held accountable for the defamation of court following his yesterday's pro-Awami statements regarding the verdict that declared the 16th amendment null and void..

4. The Awami Justice Khairul H's seriously controversial and highly partial and partisan verdicts on the 5th and 13th amendments of the constitution (not only 16 months late in the case of the latter but also incomplete and prejudiced in favor of the Awami regime) should stand invalid thereby bringing back the Care-Taker Govt and declaring President Zia's rule as the best and most glorious and most effective rule Bdesh has ever seen.

The BNP should seize the opportunity, bank on this national issue and galvanize the popular resentment nationwide.
