Pakistan’s well known author, nuclear scientist, activist, Dr Pervez Amiralik Hoodbhoy spoke yesterday at Baitul Islam Complex, Vaughan, Ontario to an audience of 300 people from all walks of life. He spoke at length his long association with Dr Abdus Salam starting in 1972.

He spoke for for an hour, then a video film was shown followed by Questions and answers which lasted until 9 pm. Some interesting questions were asked by children, like why do water and electricity don’t mix.

One of his important comments was, “Science is secular, it has no religion.”
