Dawood: Did he/prophet stand for prayers and recite from the book?
No, he stood/sat, reclined in the mosque or anywhere else and repeated/read the Quran to the people in the language they understood, as he had heard it in order to show them how to follow Allah.
A teacher does not repeat 1+1=2 over and over again to teach maths to their students, he teaches 1+1=2, 1+2=3,1+3=4, etc. To limit the Quran to just a few verses to recite 5 times a day, 24/7 is a ritual that has no bases in reality.
Please answer my last question in my other post.
There is no verse in the following that can mean the Messenger had revelation other than the Quran, or any story about him communicating to his family what he had heard. Fairy tale stories made up by the 'scholar' equivalent of Omar Khayyam.
53:1 Witness are the Stars that set along a course appointed. [They never misguide you. He Who commands them, commands the Messenger 6:98, 56:75. Wa = And = Consider = Witness = For = By. Najm is singular as well as plural in the form of a galaxy]
53:2 Your honored companion is neither in error, nor is he misled.
53:3 Nor does he utter the Word out of his desire.
53:4 This (Qur’an) is but a revelation that is being revealed to him.
53:5 He has been taught by the One Mighty in Powers.
