The gesture of insulting or praising doesn’t happen in vacuum. If we praise someone, we like this person or his attributes. If we insult, we claim bad ideas/intent against him. The end is not without its means.

In Muslim world, there are people who say they belong to the Shia sect who curse and insult Hazrat Aisha. Biased literatures/youtube videos/orations abound within such sect on the matter.

So, what does Khamenie’s Fatwa suggest? Does it command a mere verbal silence on the issue? Regardless of polemic back up materials on Hazrat Ayesha that itself an insult against her. Or it also suggests rejecting past chronicles, right or wrong, abrasive narrations that substantiates reason for insult among certain group.

Fatwas also required on stemming out its means, the puzzling histories, abrasive narrations, reckless clergies that have been regenerating hate, dividing Muslims as each other’s enemy. But will it ever happen?
